is possible to assign or changes weapons colors?

Hi im new here and i was looking for some graphic modifications, but unfortunately the link that improve the guns textures (remove this dirty style) by Shelmez don't w@&k ... so im trying to do my own mod, follow the tutorial by PZ, but all weapons tex are in rgb parameters... and i would be liked have a "Platinum" 6P9. So i was think that maybe the diffuse texture are assigned through some kind of .xml if im right could anyone tell which one is?
