AMD "Polaris" Officially revealed, RX 480 brings VR to the masses for just 200$

So AMD revealed the new RX 480 GPU 9 PM CDT (US central daylight time yesterday) which costs 200$ ??? and crushes the GTX 1080 in CrossFire.

  • 14 nm FINFet archictecture
  • >5 TFLOPS of compute power
  • 36 Compute units
  • 256 Gb/s bandwidth on a 256 bit memory bus
  • Power consumption: 150 W

  • DisplayPort version 1.3/1.4 HDR supported

Yes, the price baffles me  ???? Maybe I should upgrade my PC wth two of theese >:D

Maybe they just forgot to add an additional zero on that price tag
