There is, its called useless QA department.
the PC ACU forum actually lit up like a Christmas tree, because there are bugs that prevent players from completing sequences.

also, u-play customers were able to download it one day prior to the steam release.

Before that, patch 1.4.0 was released on steam one day prior to the original manufacturer's platform u-play. Result: Versions differed, no coop play possible for one day between u-play and steam users.
