pre-order bonuses

The list of pre-order bonuses as I understand them are as follows:

Best Buy - you get access to the demo on 5/8 vs. 5/21 for the rest of the world, plus you get a code for the Uncharted 2 multiplayer Beta this summer.

Gamestop - you get a code to unlock the Gigawatt blades (a special ability in game),  not sure about the Beta code but the press release sounded general so I assume you'd get the Beta code as well.

Amazon - clothes for your Home avatar  (lamest of all bonuses)

I went with BB so I could get early access to the demo.  Some say the Gigawatt blades is a better deal as you can use them for all gameplay vs. just a 2 week early demo.  However, a lot of folks are saying the blades probably get unlocked at some point in the game anyways or will be avail. as DLC later.

Ah, don't be cranky JRD, I'm sure one day they'll port it to the PC...well, probably not...sorry.  :(

If it's like the "bonus" you got for pre-ordering FC2, it's just a registry entry away, or a "secret" code that gets posted on the web the next day.

I can upload the registry file, just save it and double-click. Gives you the tape missions too.

Just noticed that you'd posted it - many thanks - each time I started FC2 on the PC I looked at the Additional content part and said to myself "man, I need to enter those, but they're such a pain..."
