good vs. evil: how will you play?

The game has different powers and a Karma system for how the citizens react to you which are all based on your actions.  In the opening sequence I read about, the citizens are led to believe you are the cause for the explosion and come after you.  You're choice is to defend yourself / fight back, or to flee. 

It should make for good replay value.  So how will you play in your first run through the game?  For me, I normally play a game putting myself in the shoes of the character, which means I'm going to try to be as good as possible, but if someone is really pissing me off, they may get a zap.  So I guess for me the answer is a little of both.  Certainly it'll be an entirely different game to go through as pure evil (that'll be playthrough #2).

Here is a little spot on good vs. evil.  Some guy talking about it with gamefootage going on.  By the way listen to some of these videos I've posted, am I hearing a distinct Duke Nukem voice/speech pattern from our hero.  Strange, yet comforting...
