This is a song tribute to the dead brother of the singer, very good song I think, but quite sad

Bro Hymn by Pennywise

To all my friends, present past and beyond
Especially those who weren't with us too long
Life is the most precious thing you can lose
While you were here the fun was never ending
Laugh a minute was only beginning
Jason Mattew Thirsk, this one's for you

Ever get the feeling you can't go on
Just remember whose side it is that you're on
You've got friends with you till the end
If you're ever in a tough situation
We'll be there with no hesitation
Brotherhood's our rule we cannot bend

Whoa oh oh oh oooooooooooooooooooooh

When you're feeling too close to the bottom
You know who it is you can count on
Someone will pick you up again
We can conquer anything together
All of us are bonded forever
If I die you die that's the way it is

Whoa oh oh oh oooooooooooooooooooooh

To all my friends, present past and beyond
To all those who weren't with us too long
Life is the most precious thing you can lose
While you were here the fun was never ending
Laugh a minute was only the beginning
Jason my brother, this one's for you

Whoa oh oh oh oooooooooooooooooooooh

I like the songs you posted Fiach, especially the Boomtown Rats.

For me, it's kind of a search to find Punk songs I know and like. Most I know because my parents listened to it a lot, and some I really like.

Here's a great song of Wreckless Eric, a guy I've seen performing Live begin 90's. Quite impressive.

Whole Wide World

Not sure if this is exactly punk, but I lime it. It's strange.

Kevin Coyne - House On The Hill (live1973)

I wanted to post an Iggy Pop song as well, but can't find the right one.

I like the talking heads:
TALKING HEADS - Psycho Killer (1980)

And Lou Reed:
The Velvet Underground - Heroin

If you haven't already Binn, you should check out the Talking heads movie Stop Making Sense.

I have mixed feelings about Iggy, sometimes I think he's shite, other times I hear Passenger or Candy and I tend to forgive how shite he is  >:D 8-X :-D
