Gold Rush

Anyone watching the Gold Rush series?  This is a kind of goofy reality series where some inexperienced guys go off to the Klondike to dig for gold.  One group, the Hoffman's might actually turn a profit this year, and even that old shyster Dakota Fred Hurt might come out ahead.

Never heard of it mate, but I went to check it out, expecting something like Deadwood, but what I found was Gold Rush Alaska, a modern setting TV series, is it the same thing?

if so, I'll check it out.

Here's a link to the after shows.  It's a goofy show about a bunch of inexperienced miners trying to strike it rich in the Klondike, but I like it anyway because I like heavy machinery, mining, and the outdoors.  One of my favorite off-roading activities is to look for old abandoned mines and explore the ruins.
