2K Games has today revealed that the forthcoming Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition release will include a special incentive for fans of the widely respected Duke Nukem series. In anticipation of the long-awaited release of   Duke Nukem Forever, those who purchase the Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition will receive access to a beta testing phase for Duke Nukem Forever prior to the game's launch next year.

            Included in the retail package will be a membership to what is currently known as the "Duke Nukem First Access Club", allowing gamers to join the beta testing phase for Duke Nukem Electronic Theatre ImageForever ahead of the game's release. A number of other items will also be included, but 2K Games have not yet revealed any details on the remaining contents.

            As this is the first confirmation of a beta testing phase for Duke Nukem Forever, it is not yet known when the client will be available to gamers.
