Final thoughts
The final game was miles away from what had been promised. No open world experience, not because there were borders but because you had to fight the clock = no time to explore. The biggest plus was a user-made sniper mission which was more fun to play than the original game missions. Although issuing commands was a lot simpler than in ARMA II, it wasn't perfect at all. Once you had played OFP:DR, you really didn't feel like going through all that again, apart from perhaps single missions you could pick from a menu once you had played them.
