Cool!  Can we use this mod on the console or is it PC only?

spaceboy

it's official DLC on all platforms  it should be updated on PSN today/tonight as PSN updates on Thursdays

3 cheers for Avalanche to have a free little DLC already.  did you watch that vid?  I'm more excited now that I know its a fast vehicle.   I think it'll be a black market purchase of about $30k if I read that right somewhere.

Yeah, I watched, and it was really cool - I'll be downloading it tonight then - thanks for the "heads-up".  It is great that they already have DLC available.

On a side note, I'm leaning towards getting the game for the PC because of the mods that are appearing.  I've seen mods for quite a few things, and I'm hoping for new map content as well.

yeah I think there will be some cool mods.  My PC won't handle it I'm sure.

But that's ok,  the game has enough content to keep me happy for quite awhile.  Plus Red Dead Redemption looks to have just as expansive and interesting of a game world so two big open world games this year should appease me along with all the other games I've recently purchased.  :-[

But since you've got the PC to play it on, I can see where the mods will be tempting.  Can't wait to hear what crazy things you find (better have some vids!)

You bet - I just updated my FRAPS to the new version that allows the last 30 second feature that is built into JC2 so I'll be able to do some good damage.  The 3-second feature is really a good idea because I can't remember the number of times I've said to myself "man, I wish that I'd have clicked the record button for this!".  Don't expect too much though, I am still no better at gaming that I have ever been  ;D

I do like the idea of capturing stills though, because some of the places I've visited are spectacular.  for instance, I was in a small military area yesterday while the sun was setting, and it's ruby red color was reminiscent of the FC2 sunsets.  The filtered light, and lots of other eye candy are things I'd like to record.
