When playing FC2 I use a Logitech Cordless Gamdpad, its like a PS2 controller.
I use the mouse and left hand the Pad that I kinda balance on my leg.
The aswd are mapped to the stick and the Dpad has some of the other functions like reload, map, action,
and the two left buttons are sprint and crouch.
I find driving and sneaking around is easier, depends on your preference I guess.
Anyways, here it is;

cut&paste the text below into a text file named Farcry2.wgp and then open the Logitech Profiler and
create a new profile and then import the file Farcry2.wgp into it.
You may also have to tell the profiler where the Farcry2.exe file is located too.

Excellent recommendation DKM2,

I kind of like using the PS3 controller, but it is probably due to the fact that it is what I have become accustomed to.  Do you PC guys have a recommendation about what type of PC/graphics card I should purchase?  I'm looking for the most power possible, but am concerned about cost (of course) and flexibility so that it plays the greatest amount of games.

I got a GTX 280, everthing runs fine, but it cost me about $500 cdn.
I run everything at 1920x1200, so if you have less than that, you
could get away with something less for a card too.

My card is an Nvidia 8800 GTS and at 1680x1050 or whatever the res is, it can just barely run at a decent rate. I have to use the console command  "evict_resources" every now and then to free up memory to get it back to a decent frame rate. Cost me about $350 or so. I'd like to get a faster card some day, see how things go the next couple months. Games are only going to need more and more graphics power, so get the very best that's available that you can afford at the time you buy. Maybe even scrimp on something else to get a better vid card. The big things are CPU, memory and vid card. Get as much and as fast as possible.
