good point Art...and welcome to the new forum section for FUEL.
thank you. Very good stuff here :)
looks slick, is it just racing or can we arm the vehicles ? never been that into racing games but this could be the one.
just racing dke58, no weapons, but with 5,000 square miles to roam plus totally open road racing (on all types of terrain) it should be a good time. Some games, like Motorstorm tried to make it feel like open road (you had multiple paths to take) but that's just it, multiple paths. This is totally open with no loading.
Also some extreme weather conditions. I'm going to post some more video links soon.
the little vid on official site does look really sweet, will defo give it a go even if just for its vastness. shame about no weapons tho, would get totally lost in a game that was a mix between Farcry and Fuel, maybe it was too much madmax as a youth, about 20 years ago was completely hooked on a table-top game called Dark Future, published by Games Workshop. was kinda hoping would be bit like that, not sure if that game made it state side but around similar time Steve Jackson released Car Wars, cars were about 10mm long if that as far as can recall where as Dark Future was close to 1/72 scale so many Matchbox cars got "madmax`d"
Ahh the good old days.... making myself feel old now LOL
my son has a Hot Wheels PS2 game that you collect weapons and shoot the other Hot Wheels cars while driving around tracks like a bedroom, attic, etc. It's actually quite fun taking out a car in front of you with a mortar shot.
Excellent preview article spaceboy... really teasing
I want add something to the list
- Win a race making my own shortcuts ;)
I was watching a preview video last night that said you'll be able to make your own races and checkpoints along the way. Not sure how that'll w@&k, but sounds kind of interesting.
