It might also be fun to have a collection of unique finds, the sort fragger often finds. Here's a start:

The menu board at a burger stand at one of the outposts. Some interesting names there.
[smg id=5326]
Great pics, you guys! :-X There is so much detail in the game, we'll be finding stuff for a long while to come, I think. Dweller just beat me to it with the menu one, I took a cap of that as well :) I like some of the names on that :-()
I like that pic showing a bio-hazard label and a caption under it saying "Hold breath" Also like the "Wetnose Lager Beer" sticker on that suitcase :-D
Here's some more:
Catch of the day!

Check out my new wheels! Correction: wheel.

You like to drink it:
[smg id=5331 align=center width=600]
Now you can smoke it!
[smg id=5332 align=center width=600]
This looks like a luau pit, only being in the south pacific, and since all the locals are apparently displaced Maoris, I guess it's the New Zealand version - a hangi pit.
[smg id=5333 align=center width=600]
And here's my kitchen! All modern and state-of-the-art. Who's up for marinated warthog snouts and devilled cassowary?
[smg id=5334 align=center width=600]
I love it fragger! I've not seem much of what you have posted, likely because I'm still more occupied with maintaining my skin intact ^-^
nice pics :) I need to check that menu when I find one :-() I saw the Vodka cig pack, too :)
Great screenies guys :-X
Here are a couple of random caps

How'd you get the camera overlay to capture? Whenever I take a screen with the camera up, I get no overlay. It's OK when you want to get a real closeup of something without anything in the way, but other times, you want the effect.
Plus, when you use the camera and take a picture with it, are those saved anywhere, or is it just for effect in game?
I always have Fraps running so stills and video are always a keystroke away. Fraps has always captured everything I have wanted.
In game camera captures are only for in game effect.
Ah OK. I'll just keep in mind if I want a cap with the overlay, to quit out and paste the clipboard into a graphics program. I think that works anyway.
I've always enjoyed old filling station advertising - my first job was in a gas station
[smg id=5428 width=400 align=center]
The next three are just reminders of the large propane tanks in FC2
[smg id=5429 width=400 align=center]
[smg id=5430 width=400 align=center]
[smg id=5431 width=400 align=center]
More gas & oil
[smg id=5432 width=400 align=center]
Nice :-X
In the first pic, the "Motor" logo is a little like a combination of the old and new Mobil logos. I won't post images of those here, but do an image search of "mobil logo" on Google and you'll see the similarities.
P.S. I too worked in a gas station many years ago. Only here we don't call it a gas station, we call it a service station. Or in typical Aussie vernacular, a "servo" :-()
Yes, I noticed the similarities right away :-X
We formerly called them service stations as well, but there is no service in stations at all these days, so they are simply gas stations. In the old days, attendants put gas into vehicles, checked oil, washed windshields, etc - today, all they do is collect your money, and if you purchase via credit card, they don't even have to do that :-()

There's a filling station down the road from where I w@&k. It's near the port so trucks go there all the time, and there's no one there at all, just credit card only pumps. Well, there might be someone who comes through once in a while to check things, but mostly it's only truckers filling up.
Jobs??? We don't need no stinkin' jobs
I re-found the wheelchair, it's at x:399 / y:386, across the river just NE from Hoyt's compound.
is it still there or did you take it? :-D
Gord beat him to it. He's surprisingly fast for someone with 99 medals
I've come across a few wheelchairs on the islands. One in particular caused me some concern as there was a body laying next to it. Rushing over to check I was relieved to see that it was one of the locals and not our Gord. Now that I've had some time to reflect on it I've come to realize that Gord would only use a wheel chair to lure pirates or privateers (thinking they'd found an easy target) within striking distance and then probably beat them to death with it. ;)
With the wheels all out of true from the thrashing he's delivered Gord stalks off to his stash of wheelchairs for a fresh one to continue his ruse leaving behind the trail of them we keep finding. :-D

You know how when you get various loot, it's sometimes a poker chip or some other random crap? Well, if you watch one of the locals as they seem to search through stuff on the ground, the items they toss in their hand are exactly that, red, blue, green poker chips, spent lighter, Cuban cigar, etc. You can see in this cap, the green poker chip and cigar.
[smg id=5585]
Road flare used in the supply drop missions, it's not just a smoke effect on the ground, but an actual in game item.

[smg id=5588]
I never noticed that - by "game item" do you mean that you can pick it up and use it?
No, when you do those races you'll have to follow a path lit by those flares. They burn out and that's what you see on the ground afterwards.
Yeah, you can't pick them up and use them unfortunately, that would be cool though, be able to throw flares to attract/distract enemies. Or set things on fire, you know, just because. But, most other games would just have the smoke effect sprouting from nothing, I was surprised to see there's a physical item to go along with it.
Ever switched off any alarms in any outpost? Or saw those fuse boxes after liberating an outpost, they're usually near your fast travel station / safehouse?
Take a close look at them..

"Playing too much Video Game may lead to aggressive behavior. Handle with care"
Nice catch Art. :-X
:-X
At least the attention to detail in FC3 does not disappoint!
What do you think the last line reads, after Handle with care?
B .... something .... p ??
No idea. If you look carefully at the known text then you'll have to agree that certain letters are unreadable and only when reading it knowing what it means is it possible to identify certain letters. The last line.. apart from B, it could also be a K or an R.. the rest could be anything, too. If the first is a B and the last a p, it could be "Booby Trap" :-() The last one looks like "erp" maybe as in "twerp" :-()
Yeah, looking at it in game, leads to think it says "Herp derp" which would be funny.
heh, I wonder if we'll also find "wall-eyed muck sucker" somewhere. :-D
That would be Herpina and Derpina. >:D
(*or is it Herpette and Derpette? Hmm...*)
On the side of a large propane tank
[smg id=5649]
"Christmas has been canceled. Apparently you told Santa you've been nice this year. He has died from laughing."
How funny!
 cool find, D_B ^-^
Great finds chaps  :-X
hmmmm... tempting. Look closely, the "mission marker" -- an expression involving "missionary" springs to mind. :-D

Was that lady in your picture named nip, Art?
I never asked.. :-D

Great shot! :-X
:-X :-D
Mike gets demoted, he only has his own brand of beer (or whatever this is) in FC3, not an entire bar like FC2. Too bad, we will miss you, Mike....
[smg id=5704]
It looks like Mike likes to drink Bleach. :)
LOL Hacko
My first impression was "milk bottle?" but hell, bleach is way better :-()
Cool find Dweller :-X :-D
Is the logo the same? I think it might be, but I can't find a screenshot of the Mike's Bar from FC2 right now, anyone got one handy?
It does look like a bleach bottle, though, lol.
Here. :)
[smg id=1878]
And as you already may have noticed: The conflict diamonds in the game are coincidentally from Leboa Sako (or Bowa Seko?).
So the Mike's logo is pretty close, I thought it looked about right.
Does it actually mention somewhere that the conflict diamonds are from Leboa or Bowa? Have to notice next time I get one.
I'd like to find that clue myself, too. So far, all I found was a case with a diamond in it that was pretty close to FC2.
[smg id=5721 type=preview align=center caption="FC3 diamond"]
Öhm just go in your inventory. There is a description for every object you find ;)
Don't you read? (:)0
I usually skim the item descriptions, but never noticed the conflict diamond one. I have gotten the gemstone one a few times since you mentioned it, but not another conflict diamond yet.
That does look like an FC2 diamond case, Art, remember where that is?
The case is part of a side mission, one of those that sport a blue exclamation mark and it was in the Southern island. A girl in a shack asks for your help and you end up killing her husband in that same shack. I don't remember the mission's name, though.
As to the conflict diamonds and reading my inventory items' descriptions: I didn't read that particular one while I did read quite a few of the others. :)
Here's the conflict diamond, would have been nice if they at least mentioned Bowa, but I guess we settle for Africa
[smg id=5735]
Phone-ception?
[smg id=5737]
Who you winking at? (zoom it)
[smg id=5738]
You are definitely a details guy, D_B :-X +1
I'm pretty sure that I read somewhere in the game Bowa-Seko or Leboa Sako. Hrrr I am waiting for a mod to release so I can start my new playthrough.
I think I found the answer. When playing "Hurks" missions (not short for Hercules, his parents are pacifists) he will tell you he tracked some rebels trying to hide some "Bowa Seko Conflict Diamonds" in a temple. He asks you to steal the diamonds for him because his own intent to do so stranded with a rebelling monkey carrying a charge of C4 on its back :o
[smg id=5807]
You will have to enter the temple, which is a bit to the South of the "Point Blank" Rakyat Trial. Kill all pirates and then steel the diamonds that are hidden in an exact same case as shown above:
[smg id=5808]
This quest will also shine some light on another (yet unsolved?) mystery concerning a loot chest symbol on the map that doesn't lead to a lootable and visible chest. Turns out that this loot symbol involves the chest that is put there on that tiny island by Hurk, for you to put the stolen diamonds in. Somehow they must have not managed to hide the diamond symbol in the map when not on that specific mission.
[smg id=5809]
.....which brings the question to mind; how is it possible that this content, which belongs to so called DLC, is already there even for people who don't have the dlc? The only possible answer can be that the entire DLC is already there. They should design a mod to unlock that space on your hard disk, shouldn't they ????
nice finds, Binnatics :)
As to the DLC that is already there: we have already started the discussion across OWG in other topics/posts, too :-D
As to "mods unlocking DLC" I strongly advise against it. If a company wants to sell it and you get your greedy mitts on that officially not (yet) released stuff, they can get you for violating terms of use and license agreements and the likes which may get you into trouble -- for example, result in a banned account.
Cool pics and explanations Binn. :-X
Regarding pirating locked UBI content (in a game featuring pirates ????? ). I'm pretty sure the fine print in the Terms of Use Agreement states that usage violations will result in the removal of constraining security locks and the release of the Virtual Rabid Weasel® who will chew the game (and all other nearby files) off of your hard drive in great bloody chunks.
Don't worry about me going crazy on Ubi's license agreements, I just think it's worth a discussion that a company fills up space on our very own harddrives without granting access to it. If they wish me to pay for access, they should leave that shaithe in their cloud or wherever they stash their stuff, but not on my machine. \:/
D_B found the anklet decoration and flip-flop on heavies before me but I have a white war paint to add to the mix :-()
[smg id=5850 type=preview align=center caption="Screenshot0499"]
:-X :)
Cool, I assume that's paint and not a tattoo? Never heard of white tattoo ink before, but then I'm the farthest thing from an expert on tattoos.
I called it war paint not a tattoo because I haven't heard of white tattoo ink either and I am as far from an expert on tattoos as you are :) Unfortunately we can't ask Michael Jackson any more about getting black skin white.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was actual white ink.... I've seen the weirdest colour combos on tattoos ????
Yep, sure is:

Nice :-D
Before you torture Riley you'll pass a guard who is watching some sort of "best of Jason Brody's crew getting captured" programme. After a short while the screen blurs and shows whirling stripes so you better watch it the moment you enter the cellar of Hoyt's mansion.
[smg id=5879 type=preview align=center caption="Screenshot0615"]
I have noticed that, it's well done 8)
Btw, have you noticed where the guy who's watching that has his right hand? Sick puppy...

I just saw that on a jet ski a day or two ago, took a screen, but haven't posted it yet, so there you go.
heh :-()
