Here is a link to a pretty cool video showing a race taking place around 5 or so tornados.  Pretty sweet looking.

This looks really exciting spaceboy; although I kind of like racing games, I tend to tire of them relatively easily.  I'm hoping that Fuel's open world nature changes my outlook.

I didn't see anybody getting sucked up into a tornado.

I know.  I was waiting for the driver to head straight into it.  It seems like you should be able to - it was right there a couple times.    I hope you can.  I REALLY hope you can.  It did seem the destruction was occurring just "in time" in front of you.  I'd like it to be random, but who knows.

It can still be fun even if it is contrived.  I had a hella good time on the Lego Star Wars Pod Racing level with falling rocks and sand people shooting at you.  It didn't feel scripted.

Anyways, the destruction reminded me of FC2 where the tree didn't budge but at least the small wooden fences broke.

It seem "just in time" indeed, but I really don't care.
It adds a lot to the fun  ;D
But you guys are right about the tornado... there seems to be an icon, some circles on it, that might suck you up if you drive into it. I wonder if it means race over for you or can throw you somewhere ahead in the race occasionally  ;)

I remember a vid where the devs were talking about weather and environment. In my memory it stayed as a reminder "beware of those tornados". I remember them describing something where you could see the tornado from afar which required a countermeasure of you with the goal to bloody avoid the tornado  ;D
