I was looking at the interactive map on the JC2 home page, did a filter to show Easter eggs and saw things I'd not seen in the game before, some of which I'd read about.  For instance, there is a motorized shark fin that I'd seen mention of elsewhere, but had not seen.  When you click the eggs on the map, an image pops up so you can see what it looks like.

Another notable mention was a lot of bananas laid out on the ground spelling: "banana fail" - sure did look odd.

nice, cheers  :-X

I'll never forget the beached dead whale I accidentally found. I had to force open it so I could get the collectible inside, and the green gases that steamed out and hung in the air for a while.  :)

Cool - makes me want to get back into the game to find some of these eggs.  :-X

I thought the shark fin was really funny.  There's also a snowman somewhere.  It's hard to see everything accidentally, you have to deliberately look for them with coordinates.

I just started a playthroughon Hardcore to see if I can get the Platinum trophy.  Felt good to be back on Panau, hopefully the difficulty won't be too horrible.

I'm impressed, space - I'm lucky to survive on normal  :-()

don't be impressed yet, I've only done the welcome to Panau, casino, and 2 strongholds.  I actually breezed through those strongholds though so either the difficulty doesn't apply to strongholds, or I just know what to expect after over 100 hours on Panau...

Indeed - the map is so large that I haven't seen every area yet, let alone the details within the areas.  The interactive map shows the coordinates, so I can now go in to find these spots.

I was a little disappointed with that fin because I had hoped I could ride it for some time and have fun. For some reason that thing always carried me to the shore and beached itself there.
