Title: Powerhouse, you know it, you do
Post by: mandru on February 07, 2014, 09:04:26 PM
Raymond Scott Quintette - Powerhouse - Hit Parade (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YfDqR4fqIWE#)

@ the 1:25 mark the composition changes and you would have sworn until now that this was two different pieces.

Though this is purely acoustic apparently Raymond Scott was also a pioneer in computer graphics (did title sequences for Vertigo one of Hitchcock movies) as well as very early synth design and synth music exploration.

very nice piece, mandru  :) :-X

Looks as if he had filmed a cathode ray oscilloscope and overlaid the band with the filmed moving image.
