======================================================================
In a forum post  detailing the beginning of the Assassin's Creed Brotherhood multiplayer beta for Europe (Oct. 4, by the way), it appears that the PC version of the has been delayed.

"Assassin's Creed Brotherhood is scheduled to release on November 18th 2010 on Xbox 360 and PS3. It will be available on PC in Q1 2011." Note, the November 18th date discussed for the console versions is the European release date. It will be released in the US on November 16. The PC versions of the franchise's previous games have also lagged behind the console counterparts.

Those of you pre-ordering the game at GameStop in the US or anywhere in Europe will be granted access to the beta on September 13 and October 4, respectively.

Since the forum post explicitly discusses the European market, Shacknews has contacted Ubisoft to determine if the same PC delay is applicable in the US and other territories.

thanks for the info, JRD. :) Reminds me of last year, I think, when we agreed the most infamous word back then was "delayed"   >:(
