I started playing this last night. So far the environments are wide-open areas of swamp land with all sorts of new and weird creatures to destroy... erm... study. It's supposed to be like you are on a weekend hunting retreat with Hammerlock, and there's this strange little documentary maker-dude that's tagging along to film things. He gives you tasks to do that will film well - right now for instance I am collecting drifter eggs for him, while he gives his voice-over commentary (which, in large part, is about how eggs are so "nomy, nomy"). I also have a "trophy list" of sorts, which are all the rare creatures that I am to bag while hunting. The list consists of things like
two-legged drifters and albino skags, and these "rare" creatures appear randomly within the game world - a pretty cool side mission :-X
