There has been talk online about mod creation tools for Fallout4 that promises to deliver mods to all gaming platforms.

Bethesda has also announced "regular updates that include new features" and of course, the extra money making trick being used these days - a season pass for their DLC - it reportedly costs $30. The price of games is already steep enough at $60, so I at least like it that I do not have to pay $90 for a game I might not even like.
I now think of a release game as a "preview"

Some of the mods probably require some sort of script extender (e.g custom missions/NPC dialogue and new abilities/items) to function. I doubt we will see that kind of mods on the consoles. Here are something the consoles/potatoes will NEVER GET: 4K ENBs and SweetFX graphic mods >:D :-D
