JC2 however has got so many items to collect, say 300

Erm, let me rephrase that. More like 3,000. There are like 300 faction items included. The game collection consists of maybe 1,000 weapon parts, another 2,000 armour and vehicle upgrades, scattered all across Panau, mostly as part of a settlement.

After 170 hours, I completed the last of the locations for a grand total of 368 / 369. It looks like the Panau Falls Casino Glith is going to be the asterisk on my achievement.

After 257:31 hours (lol) I finally got 369/368 (!) now.. all completed. Funny how there are 369 but the game stated "of 368."  ???? :)

Maybe the extra is one of the Easter egg type objects?

Although I have finished most of my games, this one isn't one of them :) I was referring to the locations: all 369 locations 100% but not the entire game, which is around 93.5%. :) However, I did finish the missions long ago.

The one extra was more likely an Easter bug. :)

lol, I rarely complete anything except the main objectives.  The closest I have come to completing a game is FC2, but I just couldn't bring myself to look for all of the diamonds.  :-()

In JC2, I don't think that I've even completed half of the areas, if I recall correctly.

if you've never finished a game then I can give you a reason to: Games usually have a polished extro, like some highlight, some revelation, some unexpected twist, or just present you with some kind of happy end.. in other words, you have missed out on spectacular things. :)

I probably should, but to tell you the truth, I almost get more fun out of modding the game than playing it through.  Although I finished the main mission in FO3, I hardly recognize most of the side missions that have been mentioned, probably because I've not encountered them (of course, it could be due to failing memory)  :-()

I probably should be writing mods instead of playing games.  :-()

No no no, you keep doing what you like to do most. :) Play, mod, play.. no need to finish a game. I was just saying that you kind of miss the reward probably every game offers, but hell, all that counts is that you keep having fun.  :)
