This might be the end of GTA Online support. Thanks for the fun, Rockstar  :-D

Interesting - I'm intrigued by the rumor that LA Noire might be remastered. That was an interesting game that I would like to revisit.  And, of course, I can't wait to see how RDR2 turns out - the first one was quite good, and quite funny in many respects.

I consider this to be a quite reliable rumour. It's got to end somewhere. If you look at the content they released, the immense amount of features that have been added, the timespan of this ongoing support and free content already (2 years for us PC players, but 3,5 years for those who started with the game on its original release) it's logical that they're working to an end. Especially with the new RDR2 coming. RDR2 will focus on mostly the same fan base as GTA.
But I assume, hope at least, that we will get a last big DLC. Something that was there already, on the shelves, just in need of some polishing and fine tuning. Something like the Casino Heist, or a Nightlife DLC. Although the Import/Export could be seen as such a massive last one, a gift to the real GTA enthusiasts.
Maybe I'm just wishful thinking, maybe there will be a big bang at the end. We'll see. :)

3.5 years of free DLC  was a good deal :-X Too bad gamers complained about microtransactions and you had to w@&k for stuff 8-X

from the source that Binnatics posted above:

QuoteFor players on PS4, Xbox One and PC that translated to 11 million new CEO Organizations established, 13 million Stunt Races played, 15 million matches of Juggernaut, 24 million new Motorcycle Clubs founded and 10 billion vehicle modifications applied just in December alone

Whoa. That's a fan base  :-X :)

With only 1/4 of the devs still working on GTAO and with GTAO coming to an end, I now understand why it took three months to just close my ticket (that had been escalated to the devs) rather than saying or doing anything.
